Frequently asked questions

Is WebP smaller?

Usually, but it depends on the image. Browser support for WebP is very good today.

Will JPG keep transparency?

No. Transparent areas are flattened to white for JPG, BMP, GIF, ICO and TIFF.

Is SVG vectorised?

No. The SVG output wraps your image in an SVG container; it is not traced into vector paths.

Can I convert many images?

Yes, and the results can be downloaded together as a ZIP.

Confirm metadata removal

This edits document properties only; page content, links, annotations and forms are preserved where the PDF engine supports it. Some metadata structures (for example extended XMP written by other editors) may not be fully removed. Your original file is not changed — a separate cleaned PDF is created.
